Create! was a weekend retreat like none other. A D-Now format (with large group and small group sessions
for the students, and housing in host-homes), this event had a simple thesis: Creativity is a natural byproduct
of a relationship with God because God is a creator. As such, we can use our creative energies to interact
with and share about God. Large-group sessions, featuring Scot Burbank of Mosaic Los Angeles
(www.mosaic.org), taught through a combination of music, speaking and creative elements. The small group
sessions, called Creative Tracks, allowed students to learn how to use their various creative energies to connect with God and to share about
God with others.
